Sea Control Squadron 32 (VS-32), the Maulers, was established on 31 May 1949 flying the TBM Avenger. In addition to the Avenger they would fly S-2 Tracker and S-3 Viking. They would support combat operations in Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as Cold War Anti-Submarine operations. On 30 September 2008 the squadron was disestablished.
