VS-32 Maulers Squadron Shirt

Honor the legacy of VS-32, the Maulers, and decades of U.S. Navy carrier-based anti-submarine warfare and sea control aviation.

VS-32 built its reputation in the demanding mission of protecting U.S. Navy carrier forces from submarine threats. Known as the Maulers, the squadron operated the S-2 Tracker before transitioning to the S-3 Viking, bringing jet speed, advanced sensors, and greater capabilities to the carrier-based anti-submarine warfare mission.

As the Navy's needs changed following the Cold War, the S-3's mission expanded and VS-32 took on broader roles including surface surveillance, sea control, reconnaissance, and aerial refueling. The Maulers continued operating the Viking into the 21st century before the squadron was ultimately disestablished.
