Celebrate the legacy of the Golden Warriors with the VFA-87 Heritage Shirt. Established as Attack Squadron 87 (VA-87) on February 1, 1968, the Golden Warriors have built a distinguished combat history spanning more than five decades of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Golden Warriors have flown the A-7 Corsair II, F/A-18 Hornet, and today's F/A-18E Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Vietnam, Desert Storm, operations over the Balkans, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and operations around the world.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Golden Warriors across generations of Naval Aviation.
