Celebrate the legacy of the Rampagers with the VFA-83 Heritage Shirt. Called to active duty as Reserve Fighter Squadron 916 (VF-916) in April of 1950, the Rampagers have built a proud history spanning more than 75 years of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Rampagers have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F4U Corsair, F8F Bearcat, F9F Panther, F7U Cutlass, A-4 Skyhawk, A-7E Corsair II, F/A-18C Hornet, and today's F/A-18E Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and operations around the world.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Rampagers across generations of Naval Aviation.
