Celebrate the legacy of the Sunliners with the VFA-81 Heritage Shirt. Established on July 1, 1955, the Sunliners have built a proud combat history spanning more than 70 years of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Sunliners have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F9F Cougar, A-4 Skyhawk, A-7E Corsair II, F/A-18C Hornet, and today's F/A-18E Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan, and operations around the world.
