Celebrate the legacy of the Black Aces with the VFA-41 Heritage Shirt. Established as VF-41 on September 1, 1950, the Black Aces have built a distinguished combat history spanning more than 75 years of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Black Aces have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F2H Banshee, F3H Demon, F-4 Phantom II, F-14 Tomcat, and today's F/A-18F Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Vietnam, Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and operations around the world.
