The Ragin Bulls of VFA-37 began on July 1, 1966 flying the A-7 Corsair II which they flew until 1990 when the transitioned to the F/A-18C Hornet. They flew the Hornet for 28 years (2018) after which they transitioned to the F/A-18E Super Hornet. During this time they flew combat missions in support of Vietnam, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.
