Celebrate the legacy of the Fighting Swordsmen with the VFA-32 Heritage Shirt. Established as Bombing Fighting Squadron 3 (VBF-3) on February 1, 1945, the Fighting Swordsmen began their combat history in the Pacific during the final months of World War II.
Over the decades, the Fighting Swordsmen have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F6F Hellcat, F8F Bearcat, F4U Corsair, F9F Cougar, F-8 Crusader, F-14 Tomcat, and today's F/A-18F Super Hornet. Their combat history spans World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan, and operations around the world.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Fighting Swordsmen across more than eight decades of Naval Aviation.
