Celebrate the legacy of the Royal Maces with the VFA-27 Heritage Shirt. Established as Attack Squadron 27 (VA-27) on September 1, 1967, the squadron began its history flying the A-7 Corsair II and entered combat over Vietnam during its first deployment.
Over the decades, the squadron has flown the A-7A and A-7E Corsair II, F/A-18A and F/A-18C Hornet, and today's F/A-18E Super Hornet. Its combat history includes service in Vietnam and operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Royal Maces across generations of Naval Aviation.
