Celebrate the legacy of the Fighting Blacklions with the VFA-213 Heritage Shirt. Established as Fighter Squadron 213 (VF-213) on June 22, 1955, the Fighting Blacklions have built a distinguished combat history spanning more than seven decades of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Fighting Blacklions have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F2H Banshee, F4D Skyray, F3H Demon, F-4 Phantom II, F-14 Tomcat, and today's F/A-18F Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Vietnam, Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Fighting Blacklions across generations of Naval Aviation.
