The Bounty Hunters of VFA-2 were founded October 1, 1972. The flew the F-14 Tomcat before transitioning to the F/A-18F Super Hornet in 2003. They have conducted operations in Vietnam, Iraq, as well as Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
