Celebrate the legacy of the Bounty Hunters with the VFA-2 Heritage Shirt. Established as VF-2 on October 14, 1972, the Bounty Hunters began their modern history flying the F-14 Tomcat and became one of the Navy's most recognizable fighter squadrons.
Over three decades with the Tomcat, the Bounty Hunters flew the F-14A and F-14D in operations around the world, including Desert Storm, Southern Watch, and Iraqi Freedom. In 2003, VF-2 was redesignated VFA-2 and transitioned to the F/A-18F Super Hornet, beginning the next chapter in the squadron's history.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and history of VFA-2, from the legendary F-14 Tomcat to today's F/A-18F Super Hornet.
