Celebrate the legacy of the Black Knights with the VFA-154 Heritage Shirt. Tracing their heritage to VFB-718, established on July 1, 1946, the Black Knights have built a distinguished history spanning eight decades of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Black Knights have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F9F Panther, FJ Fury, F-8 Crusader, F-4 Phantom II, F-14 Tomcat, and today's F/A-18F Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Korea, Vietnam, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and operations throughout the Western Pacific.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Black Knights across generations of Naval Aviation.
