Celebrate the legacy of the Vigilantes with the VFA-151 Heritage Shirt. Established as Fighter Squadron 23 (VF-23) on August 6, 1948, the Vigilantes have built a distinguished combat history spanning more than 75 years of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Vigilantes have flown some of Naval Aviation's most iconic aircraft, including the F4U Corsair, F6F Hellcat, F9F Panther, F2H Banshee, F4D Skyray, F3H Demon, F-4 Phantom II, F/A-18 Hornet, and today's F/A-18E Super Hornet. Their combat history includes Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn, and Inherent Resolve.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Vigilantes across generations of Naval Aviation.
