Celebrate the legacy of the Argonauts with the VFA-147 Heritage Shirt. Established as Attack Squadron 147 (VA-147) on February 1, 1967, the Argonauts have built a distinguished combat history spanning nearly six decades of Naval Aviation.
Over the decades, the Argonauts have flown the A-7E Corsair II, F/A-18C Hornet, F/A-18E Super Hornet, and today's F-35C Lightning II. Their combat history includes Vietnam, Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and operations throughout the Indo-Pacific. The Argonauts have repeatedly been at the forefront of Naval Aviation, from becoming the Navy's first A-7E squadron to becoming its first operational F-35C squadron.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Argonauts across generations of Naval Aviation.
