Celebrate the legacy of the Wildcats with the VFA-131 Heritage Shirt. Established as Strike Fighter Squadron 131 (VFA-131) on October 3, 1983, the Wildcats carry forward Naval Aviation traditions stretching back to World War II.
Beginning with the F/A-18A Hornet, the Wildcats later flew the F/A-18C Hornet before transitioning to today's F/A-18E Super Hornet. Their combat history includes operations against Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve.
This heritage design celebrates the aircraft and combat history that have defined the Wildcats across generations of Naval Aviation.
