VF-191 Squadron Shirt
Fighter Squadron 191 (VF-191), nicknamed "Satan's Kittens", was established on 15 August 1943 as VF-19 flying the F6F Hellcat. In 1946 they would be redesignated to VF-19A and then in 1948 would become VF-191. Over the years they would fly the F8F Bearcat, the F9F Panther, the FJ Fury, the F-11 Tiger, the F-8 Crusader, and finally the F-14 Phantom. The squadron would served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. In 1978, the squadron was disestablished by the Navy. A second VF-191 was briefly established between 1986 and 1988 flying the F-14 Tomcat.
