VF-1 Wolfpack Squadron Shirt

Honor the legacy of VF-1, the Wolfpack, and more than two decades at the forefront of U.S. Navy fighter aviation.

Established on October 1, 1972, VF-1 was one of the Navy's first operational F-14 Tomcat squadrons. Known as the Wolfpack, VF-1 deployed alongside VF-2 aboard USS Enterprise in 1974, helping introduce the Tomcat to operational carrier service and beginning an association with the aircraft that would last for the squadron's entire existence.

The Wolfpack went on to deploy throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans, participating in operations from the closing period of the Vietnam War through the Cold War. During Operation Desert Storm in 1991, VF-1 flew combat missions from USS Ranger, continuing the squadron's long operational history with the F-14. VF-1 was disestablished on September 30, 1993.

Featuring an F-14 Tomcat on the front and the historic VF-1 Wolfpack patch on the back, this shirt honors the aircraft, aviators, aircrew, and maintainers behind one of the Tomcat's original U.S. Navy fighter squadrons.
