A-7 Corsair II FLY NAVY Shirt

Developed to replace the A-4 Skyhawk, the LTV A-7 Corsair II combined impressive range and payload with the accuracy needed for carrier-based attack missions. The A-7 entered Navy service during the Vietnam War, flying its first combat missions over North Vietnam in December 1967. The later A-7E brought improved power, avionics, and precision attack capabilities to the fleet.

From Vietnam through Desert Storm, the Corsair II remained a fixture on U.S. Navy carrier decks, serving in combat operations around the world until its final Navy deployment in 1991.
